About Me

Hi, I’m Jade.

I’ve sat for three bar exams and passed each one on the first attempt. I know what it feels like to walk into that exam room carrying pressure, doubt, and the weight of expectations. I also know what it takes to walk out having executed a plan.

I took my first oath as an attorney in September 2016 after graduating from the University of Miami School of Law.

When I sat for the July 2016 Florida bar exam, I was convinced I would fail. I chased perfect practice scores, compared myself to everyone else, and studied until anxiety took over.

Then my mentor checked in. I broke down. Full ugly cry. Instead of telling me to work harder, he helped me change how I was thinking, planning, and holding myself accountable. That shift changed everything. I passed.

A few months after swearing in, that same mentor invited me to join UM Law’s alumni bar coaching program. I said yes. In 2021, I said yes again when a national bar prep company asked me to join their coaching team. I coached and practiced law ever since.

In 2025, an unexpected shift in my federal career led me back to my own bar exam process, this time in new jurisdictions. I put my coaching strategies to the test (pun intended) due to much external uncertainties and limited prep time. I passed the New Jersey bar exam and later passed the New York State bar exam, making me even more confident in my strategies and coaching approach.

Effective bar prep is not about doing more. It’s about having the right study method, exam performance approach, and support.

My belief is simple. If you made it to bar prep, you are capable of passing. Sometimes what’s missing is not ability, but strategy, confidence, and permission to stop studying like everyone else.

My job is to help you find yours.

  • I am licensed in Florida and New Jersey. My career spans litigation, corporate counsel, and government roles. I’ve trained everyone from new paralegals to senior management. Those experiences gave me a wide lens on many areas of law that you study during bar prep.

  • I’ve been working with students through each bar exam administrations since I began coaching in 2016. Along the way, I’ve coached for universities, partnered with major bar prep programs, and built my own system for helping students translate study into performance.

  • I know the big names in bar prep — Themis, Barbri, AdaptiBar, BarMax, and more. I’ve used them myself, worked alongside them, and coached students through each. That means I can help you make the most of whatever program you’re already using.

  • The most fulfilling part of my work is watching students transform. I’ve seen doubt turn into confidence, hesitation turn into strategy, and struggle turn into success. I take their wins personally — and yes, the setbacks too. Every student who works with me becomes part of my story.

  • Bar prep isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each student brings different strengths, challenges, and circumstances to the exam. My coaching adapts to that reality.

Instead of forcing you into a rigid system, I tailor my coaching to you because coaching should always begins with you — how you learn, where you struggle, and what study methods you respond to. I believe in finding what your strengths and weaknesses are and finding strategies to address it.

Some students need visual tools. Others need timed drills, structured schedules, or someone to call out habits that sabotage their progress.

There are many paths to a passing score. As your coach, I believe it is my job to identify the best path for you.

  • Coaching begins with you. I want to know how you learn, where you struggle, and what study methods you respond to - and what doesn’t work. I start by looking at how you process information and how you perform under timed conditions. Some students need structure and accountability; others need help breaking down rules into manageable pieces. My approach is about identifying what’s holding you back and building a system around your learning style — not forcing you into mine.

You are going to receive 1,000s of pages of content and practice exercises, along with model answers that no one could reasonably write in the allotted time.

My approach is to show you how to read fact patterns with purpose, organize responses quickly, and write “reasonably imperfect” answers that earn the points you need to pass.

Some students need visual tools. Others need timed drills, structured schedules, or someone to call out habits that sabotage their progress.

You need practical tools, not perfection. My job is to help you figure that out.

  • Together, we build a plan that works for you by:

    • Reinforcing high-impact strategies tailored to your learning style

    • Offering alternatives to methods that have not worked in the past

    • Focusing on clarity, simplicity, and structure — especially in writing

    • Providing real accountability with flexible, human support

    • Reminding you to stay positive, avoid burnout, and above all - believe in yourself and your practice

  • When you work with me, you won’t get cookie-cutter prep or radio silence between sessions. You’ll get structure, accountability, and honest, meaningful feedback that actually tells you what to do differently.

I’ll meet you where you are, adapt my approach to your learning style, and make sure you know that you are not alone in your bar prep journey.

    My commitment is simple:

    • I’ll respond promptly and reliably so you never feel left hanging.

    • I’ll give you clear, constructive feedback — not just more outlines to memorize.

    • I’ll push you when you need it and steady you when you feel overwhelmed.

    • I won’t charge you for pep talks because your mental health is important.

Bar prep is tough, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you stay focused, supported, and ready to pass.
